It's one of them big catastrophe episode on tonight's House season finale when the PP team is called to help with the search and rescue of trapped victims when a crane collapses in downtown Trenton. The dangerous operation also puts the lives of the doctors in danger, as Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein), House (Hugh Laurie) and members of the team join forces with a search-and-rescue team to provide much-needed medical attention at the scene.

The last episode of House offered a rare glimpse into House's therapy session with Dr. Nolan, when we realized (if we haven't yet, that is) just how utterly lonely and miserable House feels, with Cuddy seemingly settling down with Lucas and Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) pushing him out of the house because of his ex-wife. After taking Nolan's advice, House feels he's back to square one.

House reportedly does something heroic on "Help Me" - heroic and excruciating - let's tune in to find out.

On the behind-the-scenes aspect of things, House EP Greg Yaitanes revealed before that the whole episode was filmed using Canon EOS 5D Mark II cameras to get into tight spaces. This explains a lot.

The House season 6 finale airs tonight on Fox.
