Ever since it was announced that High School Musical 3 would hit the big screen, there was talk of cameos from a variety of celebrities.  There was talk that Ali Lohan, Lindsay's little sis, would appear in the film.  There was talk that last season's winner of So You Think You Can Dance, Sabra Johnson, would have a more featured role.  The dancer first appeared in the first installment of High School Musical on the Disney Channel.  The latest talk comes from Entertainmentwise.com and says that Posh Spice herself, Victoria Beckham, in talks to have a starring role in the film.

According to the entertainment site, Beckham would play a sexy new teacher at East High.  High School Musical star Zac Efron wouldn't mind as he once said of the British star, "She is hot, funny and let's not forget her success with The Spice Girls."  A rep for Victoria Beckham, though, dismisses the rumors, telling MTV, "She has not been approached, but the Beckham boys are big fans of High School Musical."

High School Musical 3 hits theaters this October and will be the last for this current cast.  It has been reported that the movies series will roll on without them, return to the Disney Channel, and show off a new crop of students at East High for High School Musical 4.  This month, Vanessa Hudgens opened up about her last HSM film to Teen Vogue saying, “It’s sad. This is our last time doing a movie together, and we love each other so much. We really grew up together. We can be free when we’re around one another, and the amount of fun we have is ridiculous.”

In her interview, Hudgens also went on to say how proud she is of her character.  “I love that Gabriella is Hispanic. It’s nice to be able to stand up for people who don’t have someone to look up to very often," she said. If fans were looking for her to open about her romance with her co-star, they were out of luck. All Hudgens would say about boyfriend Zac Efron was, “I keep my relationship quiet. I think that works.”

Would you like Victoria Beckham to appear in HSM3?
Yes, I'd love to see her in the film.
No, I'd rather see someone else in the role,
