Kristen Anne Bell was born on July 18, 1980 in Detroit, Michigan. Her most well-known role so far was as the titular protagonist of the show Veronica Mars, and she is also set to appear in the second season of the hit NBC series Heroes. Bell was raised in a family of Irish and Polish ancestry, and grew up in Huntington Woods, a suburb located roughly three miles north of Detroit. When she was a young child, she once broke both of her wrists while playing hockey. Her earliest audition was when she was 11 years old, which won her the combined role of both banana and tree in a local theater production of Raggedy Ann and Andy.

Elle is portrayed by Kristen Bell in the NBC network’s hit science fiction drama series Heroes. Introduced during the second season, she is a mysterious and attractive young woman who has certain ties to Peter Petrelli, as well as having a hand in Noah Bennet’s past and his daughter Claire’s possible future. Elle’s story arc is initially started off with her being involved in a serious crime, though it remains ambiguous whether she’s good or malevolent. Her superpower is the manipulation of electricity.
