gordon ramsayHell’s Kitchen star Gordon Ramsay may be known for his ferocious temper but he was all smiles at the opening of his latest restaurant, Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood.  The event, which was held earlier this month, was attended by several celebrity guests, including Eric McCormack (Will & Grace), Jeff Probst (Survivor), Khloe Kardashian (Keeping Up with the Kardashians) and Los Angeles Galaxy player David Beckham, who goes back a long way with Ramsay.

“It’s nice having him [Beckham] here.  He’s going to be cooking in [the] kitchen tomorrow night,” Ramsay told The Associated Press during the opening celebration.

Your Take

Marla1001 said: Oh my gosh I would LOVE to go to this restaurant, and I live only about 35 minutes away, but I find it mild...

According to the Hell’s Kitchen star, the restaurant, located at The London West Hollywood hotel just off the Sunset Strip, took two years to open.  It was designed by David Collins, who furnished the space with several private dining rooms, wood floors and gold and pastel accented furniture.

As for Ramsay’s decision to put up a restaurant on the West Coast, he reveals that the new location of his restaurant makes perfect sense.

“It’s less aggressive than New York,” Ramsay explained.  “Vegas?  I don’t want to play my card in Las Vegas.  It’s materialistic.  Here, it’s proper.  I’m very happy to be here.  Everything is in abundance in California.”

Meanwhile, Ramsay will soon welcome another person in the kitchen of his newly opened restaurant: the fourth season winner of his competitive reality series, Hell’s Kitchen.  The champ will reportedly be offered a job as senior Sous-chef at Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood with a $250,000 salary.

So far, there are three remaining contestants still in the running, consisting of Christina, Corey, and Petrozza.  Find out who will conquer the competition and ultimately serve as senior Sous-chef at Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood on the season finale on July 8.

Who do you think will win Hell’s Kitchen?
