Late last year, FOX announced that it would renew Hell's Kitchen for a fourth season. Due to the writer's strike and the resultant lack of scripted material to air, networks turned to reality shows to fill in the gaps. Hell's Kitchen is one of those reality shows, and it will soon be returning to our television screens for more foul-mouthed kitchen action that only Gordon Ramsay can create.

The fourth season of Hell's Kitchen is set to premiere on April 1, 2008 at 9pm on FOX, and the network has recently released a list of contenders for the new season. Read on to meet the fresh faces who will make up the fourth season of this exciting reality competition.

Coming together this season are 15 contestants from all over the country. With ages ranging from 24 to 47 years old, these individuals have made it down to the final list of contenders to test their skills in the hopes of impressing the potty-mouthed British kitchen master, Gordon Ramsay.

This season, we have two contenders from Charlotte, North Carolina. They are 29-year-old Ben, an electrician and former chef, and 47-year-old Petrozza, a catering director.

We also have three contestants from Las Vegas, Nevada, and they are 29-year-old Jason, a sous chef, 24-year-old Louross, a hotel cook and 31-year-old Sharon, a room-service chef.

Vanessa is a 31-year-old line cook from Bozeman, Montana, and 24-year-old Jen is a line cook from Chicago, Illinois.

Christina is a 25-year-old culinary student from St. Louis, Missouri, and Matt is a 35-year-old sous chef from Pinehill, New Jersey. Dominic is a stay-at-home father from Catawba, South Carolina.

The rest of our contenders are from the state of New York. From Brooklyn, comes Corey, 25-year-old private chef. Thirty-year-old sous chef Craig comes from Coram. Bobby, a 37-year-old executive chef, hails from Niagara Falls, while Rosann, a 33-year-old receptionist and former cook hails from Staten Island. To round it off, we have Shayna, a 28-year-old catering-company owner from Buffalo.
