I’m going to say something that
Hannah Montana fans don’t want to hear. The inevitable is about to happen. It seems that
Miley Cyrus is beginning to outgrow her alter ego,
Hannah Montana, and leave her behind to pursue her own successes without the blonde wig. “The plan is to move her away from
Hannah Montana. She’s outgrown it,” a Disney insider has been saying about Miley’s team, made up of publicists, agents, and of course, her father. Don't shoot the messenger.

The rumor is that, according to this insider, Miley is planning on writing an autobiography that will help her move away from the Disney show that made her famous. This is pretty interesting considering that the book will be published through Disney Books. Miley has reportedly hired a writer to help her with her multi-million dollar book deal.
Miley may be ready to step away from
Hannah Montana, not because she’s outgrown it, but because it is costing her a normal high school experience. At Monday night’s CMT Awards, she told the press that shooting
The Hannah Montana Movie means she’ll have to miss out on prom. She was a little relieved that she wasn’t going, telling the San Francisco Chronicle that she didn’t even have a date. "I would be like the single loner at the back of the prom. That's the worst! I am not going to do that,” she said. We’re pretty sure she could find someone to take her if her schedule permitted.
It’s hard to say why Miley would want to get away from Hannah Montana. After all, it’s thanks to
Hannah Montana that she was the highest earning teen star last year. However, there have been signs of a more mature, edgier Miley in the last year. She can’t stay a Disney princess forever. It’s totally understandable that she’d want to branch out and pursue other projects. Let’s just keep her away from Lindsay and Britney.
Do you think it's time for Miley to move on from Hannah Montana?
