On this Sunday's Grammy Awards, the excitement will run high for fans, as well as for the celebrities. Hannah Montana
star Miley Cyrus
and country music singer Taylor Swift couldn't hold back their excitement for the event, especially since they will be taking over the stage together.
During Ryan Seacrest's radio show, the two girls admitted that they had a great time working with one another. Swift admitted that she knew Cyrus would be a part of her act the minute she started conceptualizing it.

“We all came to the consensus, 'Wouldn't it be cool if Miley was up there too?'” she told Seacrest. “And she said yes, and we're really excited about it.”
For the awards show, they will be performing Swift's song “Fifteen” which, according to the 19-year-old singer, tackles her freshman year of high school. “It was the last year of my life I thought I knew everything,” she explained. “I had my first boyfriend when I was 15. I'm glad I was able to put it into words.”
Miley Cyrus commented on the song as well, saying she could relate her experiences about being that age, since she just turned 16 a few months ago. “I was on tour when I turned 15. It was different,” she said. “You can be touring the world with the Jonas Brothers, or you can be in high school. I think you're going through the same things.”
“The lyrics are very inspiring,” she admitted. “A lot of girls are inspired by us, so this song is us giving our advice. ... This song is pretty perfect for the Grammys.”
With that, Miley knew she couldn't pass up the opportunity. She immediately agreed to join Swift for the performance, as the two have already worked before. The country singer even has a cameo appearance on Hannah Montana: the Movie
, in theaters this April.
