We've been wary of nothings-gonna-be-the-same pronouncements when it comes to season finales, but after seeing the preview (and watching Gossip Girl's season closer), we won't take this warning from Shonda Rhimes lightly.

Tonight is Grey's Anatomy's two-part season 6 finale, and the promos tell us one thing: two people are going to be shot. The two will also die, which is weird, because let's face it: if you're going to be shot, might as well be shot in a hospital.

Says the official description: Gary Clark goes on a shooting rampage and shoots and kills (1) a Mercy Wester and (2) one of Seattle Grace's finest residents. As if that's not bad enough, there's also a multi-car pileup plus a fire in one of the doctors' house.

Talk about pouring when it rains. Promos after the jump:

Also, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) finds out she's pregnant and her and Cristina's (Sandra Oh) surgical skills are put to the ultimate test. Derek (Patrick Dempsey) reveals a shooter is loose in the hospital. Mandy Moore will also appear on the finale, if you're into that sort of thing.

A ten-minute preview of the finale has also been made available.
