I'm always interested to see how teen dramas handle the inevitable trip to college.  The original Beverly Hills 90210 kept its characters in high school until they were about 40, One Tree Hill jumped ahead four years to skip college altogether, and The O.C. and Dawson's Creek dared to break their groups apart and send them in different directions.  There's no telling what will happen to the Gossip Girl gang when they graduate from Constance Billiard, but this week's episode, entitled "New Haven Can Wait," will find the scandalous teens causing some trouble on the Yale campus.  Will Yale-obsessed Blair (Leighton Meester) make a good impression on the dean, or will her catfight with Serena leave her disheveled and distracted?

To get fans ready for Monday's new Gossip Girl, we have some photos and a promo from the episode.

The CW's official episode description reads: "After Blair and Serena (Blake Lively) get into a catfight, Serena decides to get even with Blair, who has always dreamed of attending Yale, by ditching her plans to visit Brown, and instead accepting the Dean of Yale's personal invitation to visit the school.  After discovering that none of his recommendation letters for Yale were ever submitted, Dan (Penn Badgley) frantically tries to figure out a way to salvage his chances of getting into the school.  While on the Yale campus, Chuck (Ed Westwick) is kidnapped by a group of Skull and Bones members and Nate hooks up with a co-ed."

Isn't it nice to see B and S acting so civil toward one another in the photo below?  It's too bad a catfight between the two is inevitable.  I hope there's plenty of hair pulling, and I certainly won't cry if that weird turquoise outfit Blair is wearing gets ruined.



There's not much to say about the next photo, other than it's nice to see that Chuck's autumn ensemble is just as weird as his other outfits.  Those orange pants are killing me.



The hilarious promo for the episode proves that Yale brings out the worst in everyone. Chuck gets kidnapped by strangers, Nate (Chace Crawford) gets into a brawl, Dan gets shirtless, and Blair threatens to destroy Evil Serena.



The new episode of Gossip Girl, "New Haven Can Wait," airs Monday at 8pm on the CW.
