Keiko Agena was born on October 3, 1973 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The pursuit of her dreams began at the age of ten as she performed in theaters. She went to Mid Pacific Institute and Whitman College. Later, she received the Best Female Actor prize in the Ammy Awards, an award giving body which honors Asian-American achievements in film and television. Moreover, she is part of the television series Gilmore Girls where she plays Lane Kim. Lane Kim is Rory's best friend. She is a music buff and is part of a band as a drummer. She romantically gets involved with Dave Rygalski, a band member. Their relationship entails a lot of hiding from their band mates and more importantly from her mother.
