On yesterday's General Hospital, Nikolas is tied to a chair after he had another blackout and attacked Jason.  Jax returns to Wyndemere, safe and sound, and he and Carly turn their attention to Jerry, who is badly injured.  Elizabeth admits to Emily that Jason is Jake's father.  Lulu is taken somewhere safe to hide from Anthony but someone approaches her hiding place.  Nikolas gets angry when Emily comes back for him.  There is a struggle heard off screen and a body hits the ground.

Nikolas lays on the ground unconscious.  He comes to, picks himself up, and stares at the body across from him.  Emily lays on the ground, motionless, as he cries over her body.  He calls to her, asking her to breathe, but she does not move or respond.

Kate wonders why Sonny took off so fast from Ric's beside.  Johnny comes into the cave to check on Lulu and scares her half to death.  Jason hears Nikolas calling out Emily's name and goes to investigate.  He won't let her go and says that she'll be okay as long as he holds her.  Unable to get through to him, Jason steps away and Carly tries to talk to him.  She feels Emily's pulse and sees that there isn't one.  Jason jumps back in, yelling at Nikolas, demanding to know who killed his sister.  Jax walks in and sees what has happened.  Everyone assumes that Zacchara did this to Emily.

Sonny expresses to Kate his worry that he's going to turn into Anthony Zacchara in 20 years if things stay the way they are in his life.  Johnny tries to get Lulu to understand how serious the situation is with his father, who kills for fun.  Jason makes his way to the barn and tells Elizabeth that Emily is dead.  Jerry fires off shots at Anthony but misses.  The two exchange gunfire but Jerry quickly runs out of bullets and takes off.

While Sonny and Kate talk about their relationship, Jerry stumbles into the room and collapses.  Carly, once again, tries to talk some sense into Nikolas and get him to let Emily go.  Elizabeth and Jason run into the room and she sees for herself what has happened to her best friend.  Jason grabs Nikolas while Elizabeth injects him with a tranquilizer.  Lulu agrees to do whatever Johnny thinks is best, which doesn't sit too well with Logan.  Carly and Jason head out in search of Jerry. 

Kate decides to stay with Jerry while Sonny goes to investigate what happened with Emily.  He arrives at the ballroom to see Emily in Jason's arms and realizes that she is dead.  Sonny tries to get answers out of Nikolas but he is mostly incoherent.  Lulu, Johnny, and Logan arrive at the barn where they learn of the murder from Spinelli.  Sonny mourns Elizabeth, talking about the life she could have had, and saying that he only ever wanted her to be safe.

Carly and Jax try to figure out how to tell their boys that Emily is dead, after just losing Leticia.  They find a device on the ground used to piggyback cell phones, meaning the person that has been texting Carly is there.  Elizabeth says goodbye to Emily and cries over her body as Jason comforts her.  Nikolas has a dream where he sees himself strangling Emily and tries to stop it.  Sonny returns to find Jerry unconscious and Kate missing.  Anthony has taken her and says he's going to play a game with Sonny.

On tomorrow's episode of General Hospital, Luke's health seems to be worsening.  Anthony points a gun at Kate.  Nikolas considers killing himself.
