Futurama

-Comedy Futurama follows the adventures of 25-year old Phillip Fry, a New York City pizza delivery boy who, accidentally gets cryogenically frozen on New Year’s Eve in 1999 and wakes up in the Big Apple a thousand years later, on December 31, 2999. He is befriended by the tough yet kind and beautiful alien Cyclops, Turanga Leela and an alcohol-powered bending robot called Bender, who is addicted to liquor, cigars and stealing. All three find employment with Farnsworth’s Planet Express Delivery Service which happens to be owned by Hubert J. Farnsworth who is Phillip’s great, great, great to the nth degree nephew. Fry, Leela, Bender and their co-workers go around the galaxy, facing all sorts of risks and dangers, just to deliver packages and perform charitable deeds for tax deduction purposes.

Biography

Zapp Brannigan is a 25-star general of the Democratic Order of Planets (DOOP), who has been credited with several successful campaigns including the defeat of the killbots in the Octilian system. His constant mission companion is his assistant, Kif Kroker. Despite his obvious triumphs, Zapp is actually a mindless wimp whose battlefield tactics wind up slaughtering many of his own men. Zapp has had intimate relations with Leela and constantly reminds her of this.
