'Friday Night Lights' Preview: Taylors On Fire
Becky's decision to have an abortion on Friday Night Lights two weeks ago felt a little too fast, didn't it? Not that I wanted the story to drag on, but it's quite telling that she was so set on undergoing the procedure, especially thanks to pressure from her mother. I mean, Luke wants to help. His family wants to help. Tami's helping in, even, with the usual "you're the father, Tim?" comments.

That decision is going to bite back, and bite back hard -- on Tami, believe it or not. On tonight's episode, Tami faces an attempt to have her fired as principal of West Dillon High. Luke's mom thinks she encouraged Becky to go through an abortion, never mind that what Tami actually did was just to listen to her. "Do what you have to do," she's basically saying. And then this.

The Lions are also having a hard time: their next game is coming up, and they can't focus on it. I wonder why. Personal strife? Perhaps. Their quarterback is in a pickle. Vince, after all, returned to crime just to fund his mother's rehab. Now he wants to back off the deal with Kennard. It's going to be extra hard on him, I can feel, and whatever happens would definitely affect the Lions' performance. Unless, of course, it's something else.

Friday Night Lights
returns with a new episode tonight from 8pm on NBC. Oh, and you might want to watch out for Matt here. Julie's moving on? Not exactly, perhaps not after what happens between them next...
