Deelishis, Flavor of Love season 2 winnerFlavor of Love 3 just premiered on VH1, and as rapper Flavor Flav embarks on a new journey to find his soulmate, let's revisit one of his former reality TV flames, Ms. London “Deelishis” Charles.

Fans of Flavor of Love will remember Deelishis from the show's second season, during which she, along with 20 other women, fought hard to win Flavor Flav's affections. In the end, she triumphed over the others, and was given a shiny gold grill to match the rapper's.  As with most relationships forged on national television, however, the romance soon fizzled out, leading Flavor Flav to return for a third season of Flavor of Love.

Breaking up with Flavor Flav put Deelishis right back into the dating circuit, and last February was linked to music artist Busta Rhymes, with whom she worked on her first album.  The rumors have continued to plague her since then, and last week, she finally decided to clear the air via her MySpace blog.

“I have received an influx of questions concerning my relationship with Busta Rhymes.  Questions like, "Are we friends?" 'Are we more than friends?' 'Is he my baby's daddy?' 'Am I caught up in a love triangle with him and his fiancée?'" Deelishis wrote.  “To answer your questions... Yes, he and I are friends, JUST FRIENDS, great friends to be exact.  We have been for a little while now, and respectfully we will continue to be.  I have never been a woman with a desire to covet what was not rightfully mine.  I'd never be caught up in a love triangle, and I'd never disrespect anyone else's relationship.”

Deelishis further strengthened her claim by revealing that she's actually “happily involved” with another man.

“I am happily involved in a meaningful relationship,” she said.  “Like my boy Katt Williams said, ‘We gone keep it pushing round here.'"

Although Deelishis didn't give out the name of her new man in the blog entry, she has talked about him with Sister to Sister magazine for their March 2008 issue.  She also posted pictures of them on her MySpace, with one of the captions reading, “God looked beyond my faults and saw my needs, then he blessed me with a man that loves me for me.”
