A happy ending might just be in the cards for
Flavor Flav and Thing 2, season 3 winner of the reality dating series
Flavor of Love. At present, Flavor Flav is busy filming his new sitcom
Under One Roof in Canada, while
Thing 2 is occupied with other projects in the States. Despite the distance, the reality TV couple remains optimistic about their budding relationship.
“I’ve seen Flav a couple of times since the show. He took me out to Benihana not long after the finale wrapped. But he’s been off in Canada doing his show, and I’ve had other things going on. We haven’t seen each other in a few months but it’s still exciting. I’m excited to see what’s going to happen,” Thing 2, whose real name is Tresha, said of the status of her relationship with Flavor Flav since
Flavor of Love 3’s finale.
“I see us having a really great relationship. A good, good friendship, partnership. We’ll be there for each other. We’ll be life-long partners, friends, whatever you want to call it…I think it’s going to work out for the best,” she added.
Thing 2 came in the
Flavor of Love mansion along with her twin sister
Thing 1 but eventually got eliminated in episode 12, leaving both her and Flavor Flav in tears. Given their strong connection, Flavor Flav decided to bring back Thing 2 in the following episode. In the end, Flavor Flav chose to be with Thing 2 over runner-up
Black.
Though Thing 2 was asked to return on
Flavor of Love immediately after her elimination, she never thought that she had the competition in the bag seeing that Flavor Flav already brought New York (
Tiffany Polard) back twice on the show only to turn her down. Nevertheless, her comeback, as well as her victory, gave her a sense of vindication, especially to
Sinceer, whom she had some beef with.
“It’s like, it’s in your face because you thought you were doing something. You tried to back-stab me, but it blew up in your face. That was real rewarding, but me being with Flav was the best reward,” she said.
