Keri Russell was born March 23, 1976 in Fountain Valley, California. As a teenager, she began her television career on the Mickey Mouse Club which she joined in 1991. After staying on the show for two years, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and landed a part in Aaron Spelling’s Malibu Shores in 1996. Her biggest break came in 1998 when she was cast in the title role of Felicity Porter on the coming of age series, Felicity. She won her first Golden Globe for that role in 1999.

Felicity Porter, played by Keri Russell on Felicity, just graduated from high school and promptly altered her previously set college plans, in order to follow her high school crush, Ben Covington, to New York. Thoughtful, driven and talented, she is also highly emotional and easily affected by everyone and everything around her.
