She'll be playing a lawyer and will also be part of a song and dance number when Eli Stone has one of his visions on the second episode of the new season, which is expected to air on October 21.  But the former Dawson's Creek star isn't the only actress gracing the legal drama.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Sigourney Weaver, Academy Award-nominated actress who is best known for her roles as Lt. Ellen Ripley in the Alien film series, has signed on to appear on Eli Stone as a therapist who treats Eli (Jonny Lee Miller).  Not much has been revealed about the 58-year-old actress' storyline so fans will have to stay tuned to find out.

Weaver most recently voiced the ship's computer in Wall-E this summer and co-starred in Baby Mama.  She has also been cast in several upcoming movies including The Tale of Despereaux, Crazy on the Outside, Prayers for Bobby, Avatar, and Gypsy and Me.

But that's not all.  This could be a star-studded year for Eli Stone as Taraji Henson has also been booked for a three-episode arc on the drama, according to TV Guide.  This 37-year-old actress will be playing Angela, the daughter of Loretta Devine's Patti.

Last season, Henson played Carl Sack's New York office colleague on Boston Legal.  Best known for her role as pregnant prostitute Shug in Craig Brewer's Hustle & Flow, Henson has earned several nominations from various award-giving bodies.  Her other credits include Satan's School for Girls, Four Brothers, Talk to Me, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys, and Hurricane Season, just to name a few.
