William 'Billy' Baldwin was born on February 21, 1963 to a high school history teacher/sports coach father and a breast cancer survivor mother. His brothers, Daniel, Stephen and Alec, are also actors. Baldwin graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in political science and started out as a fashion model before pursuing an acting career. In 1995, Baldwin starred in the film Fair Game with Cindy Crawford. He also played a supporting role on the 2005 film The Squid and the Whale. In 2007 he was cast for a role on the television series Dirty Sexy Money.

Senator Patrick Darling is played by Billy Baldwin on the television series Dirty Sexy Money. Patrick was the first born child of Trip who grew up to be a U.S. Senator. Despite being married with two kids, he is having an affair with a transvestite who refuses to let him go.
