A couple of weeks after the big, explosive Desperate Housewives finale (and explosively disappointing, some say), we check in on how the stars are coping with the hiatus. On this edition of our Desperate Housewives roundup, Eva Longoria-Parker is being a good material wife, John Barrowman shares why Eva likes him and Teri Hatcher tells you how to be beautiful like her. OK, not really.

'Desperate Housewives' Round-up: Ratings, Vanessa Williams and Dana Delaney

Naughty John. We sure are sorry to see his character Patrick blown to smithereens on the finale, but at least Torchwood star John Barrowman had a swell time on the set of Desperate Housewives. He says he bonded with Drea de Matteo -- "I was like her long-lost brother" -- and enjoyed time with Eva Longoria-Parker "because I have a naughty sense of humor."

The Good Wife. Speaking of Eva, she recently celebrated the birthday of her NBA star hubby Tony Parker the only way she knows how -- by showering him with gifts. People reports that for his 28th birthday, the Spurs point guard got a new four-wheeler and a surface computer from his 31-year-old wife.

Stay away, drama. There is one person who wants nothing of the Marc Cherry versus Nicollette Sheridan brouhaha -- Marcia Cross. But she says when "your whole life is so consuming," you just don't have the "time" to deal with it. "I'm always running away from it."

Be as beautiful as Teri. Not really, but you can try. Teri Hatcher has launched another website called Get Hatched (Hatched, Teri Hatcher, get it?). Unlike GOOP, it's all simple beauty tips and none of the detox stuff. Via day-in-a-life photos, from where she showers to what she eats on the Housewives set, to how she looks like in bed without make up, Hatcher tries to give her mostly female readers the empowering they need.
