Warning: May contain spoilers.

It's Mother's Day on Wisteria Lane and Susan's mother-in-law, Adele Delfino, arrives for a visit. Adele remembers every bad thing Mike (James Denton) ever told her about Susan (Teri Hatcher), and this doesn't make things any easier for Susan who goes into labor.

Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) and Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker), on the other hand, find out their tenant, Ellie (Justine Bateman), has a dark secret.  They discover that their boarder is a drug dealer but when they try to turn her into the cops, it turns out that the cops have already been staking out their house for weeks.

Meanwhile, Kayla (Rachel Fox) continues to be the wickedest child on Wisteria Lane, and a full scale war erupts between Bree (Marcia Cross) and Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) after Bree warns a woman who is thinking of moving on Wisteria Lane that her real estate agent, Edie, is not to be trusted.  Many are speculating that this storyline involves Edie crossing “a huge moral boundary that she has never crossed before."  Fans will have to stay tuned to find out.

Guest starring on tonight's installment is Celia Weston, who stirs up trouble as Adele Delfino.  This 56-year-old actress is best known for starring on the television series Alice as Jolene Hunnicutt.

After her five-year stint on the comedy, Watson landed roles in Stars and Bars, Lost Angels and Hearts in Atlantis, just to name a few.  On TV, her most recent credits include a guest appearance on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and 3 lbs.

Catch “Mother Said” tonight on Desperate Housewives at 9pm on ABC.
