So Tom Scavo (Doug Savant) will survive the plane crash and live another day. Either that or Desperate Housewives will need to do a Ghost Whisperer and talk to the dead to pull his upcoming storyline.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Tom will finally be getting professional help for the mid-life crisis that pushed him back to college, where he subsequently cheated and had to stop.

48-year-old British actress Jane Leeves, best known for playing allegedly psychic Daphne Moon on Frasier, has signed up to play Tom's psychotherapist in at least two episodes that will kick off in late January.

Leeves got nominated for an Emmy for her Frasier role, by the way, but she isn't the first Frasier alum to visit Wisteria Lane. Harriet Samson Harris played Felicia Tilman in seasons 1 and 2, while Frasier showrunner Joe Keenan even became consulting producer on the show.

But what about the more dangerous case of the crazies on Desperate Housewives? Fortunately, help is reportedly also on the way for Katherine (Dana Delaney). Last we saw her, she stabbed herself and blamed Mike (James Denton) for it.

It was also revealed that she had been telling her daughter Dylan that it was she who married Mike and Susan (Teri Hatcher) is the crazy one. Maybe Katherine and Dave can even end up in the same asylum together?
