'Days of Our Lives' Stars to Grace Fundraiser for the Disabled this Weekend
Several Days of Our Lives stars are coming together next week for a special brunch to help raise funds for the disabled.  Darrin Brooks (Max), Rachel Melvin (Chelsea), Jay Kenneth Johnson (Philip), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), together with alums Patrika Darbo, Kevin Spirtas (Dr. Craig Wesley) and most recently, Brandon Beemer (Shawn) and Martha Madison (Belle) will all be at a brunch on Sunday, April 6, for the annual Samantha's Friends fundraiser called Pot of Gold.

Pot of Gold is the yearly project of Samantha Bozza, who has made it her mission to help people with disabilities become more independent and self-sustaining.  This year's fundraiser gathering will take place at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club in Bradenton.  Tickets are at $75 each and proceeds will be for the procurement of trained service dogs for the disabled.

Aside from this weekend's Pot of Gold, Days of Our Lives alum, Kevin Spirtas, will also be busy in the coming months, with a couple of projects for the stage.  Spirtas, who gave life to the dashing and playful Dr. Wesley for seven-and-a-half years on Days of Our Lives, is bringing his Night & Days act to The Paramount Theatre Centre in May.  The following month, he will be among the Broadway cast of A Chorus Line, who will come together for The Line… A Salute to A Chorus Line, to be held in Los Angeles.

Night & Days An Evening with Kevin Spirtas is a musical and performance extravaganza that will showcase highlights of Spirtas' career, from his debut on Broadway all the way to his years on Days of Our Lives.  His one-man show includes songs and dances from an array of Broadway classics such as Phantom of the Opera, Camelot, Chicago, West Side Story, A Chorus Line and The Boy from Oz, for which he was picked over hundreds of hopefuls to become Hugh Jackman's standby in September of 2003.

Night & Days goes onstage at The Paramount Theatre in Anderson, Indiana on Saturday, May 10 at 7:30pm.  Tickets, which have been on sale since March 21, are at $20, $25 and $30 for VIP.  Those who purchase the first 200 VIP seats will even receive a special backstage pass to meet the Days of Our Lives alum.
