Days of our Lives: June 4 Live Thoughts
Days of our Lives: June 4 Live Thoughts
Days of our Lives begins with Sami (Alison Sweeney), packing up the twins to take them on an outing.  She's bringing them down to the Java Cafe so she can have coffee with John.  Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) wants her to leave the kids with him.  EJ (James Scott) walks in and says, "Over my dead body."

At the hospital, Daniel (Shawn Christian) kidnaps Lexie (Renee Jones) for an impromptu break over coffee and bagels.  They share steamy looks.  Wait, what??  Since when did they start flirting?  Did I miss something?

Nick (Blake Berris) is at the pub, meeting with the dean of the physics department.  Chelsea (Rachel Melvin), Morgan (Kristen Renton) and Stephanie (Shelley Hennig) sit around discussing their grades.  Max (Darin Brooks) shows up for his shift, and gets concerned when he sees Nick across the room.

On yesterday's Days of our Lives, Nicole followed John and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) followed Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson), each woman snooping around.  But they are not good snoops because they both lost their targets.  John (Drake Hogestyn) goes over to the Kiriakis mansion to talk to Philip.  Neither man admits to anything about the drugs.

Nicole and Chloe run into each other at the dock, and Nicole demands to know what Chloe's intentions are toward Philip.  Also at the docks, Morgan finds her father.  He tells her to go home because it's too dangerous for her there.

Chloe comes back home and catches the tail-end of John and Philip's conversation.  Chloe and Philip have a nice moment, which is interrupted when Victor (John Aniston) comes home and demands that Chloe leave immediately.  Victor also relieves Philip of his duties overseeing the shipping business for violating the first rule: don't get your hands dirty.

Sami steps in between EJ and Lucas.  Her compromise is that she'll take Johnny with her to the cafe, and Lucas can watch Ali.  Home alone, Lucas has his hands full with Ali, who won't stop screaming for her doll.  He calls Sami, but she can't really help him.  Lucas leaves the room and finds the doll, but while he is gone, Ali gets up and walks away.  Holy smokes, these kids grow up fast.  By the time Lucas gets back, Ali is nowhere to be found.  She wandered outside, so Lucas runs outside the perimeter of the house to get her.  Police officers arrive at the door shortly to arrest him for violating the conditions of his house arrest.

EJ runs into Sami at the cafe.  Sami expresses her gratitude for working so hard for the twins.  He just likes spending time her with and Johnny, without Lucas.  They tag team changing Johnny, and Sami seems surprised at how good EJ is with the baby.  Roman (Josh Taylor) arrives, followed by Nicole, who starts telling Sami about the status of her marriage to EJ.  She's about to tell her, but Sami gets a call from Lucas from jail.  She rushes down to the station.

Daniel also goes to the Java Cafe and asks Chelsea to meet him there.  When she gets there, he wants to be finally be honest with her.  There's another woman here in Salem, and they have been hooking up.  OMG, I just thought Daniel and Lexie were flirting.  Are they hooking up too?  Or maybe it's another woman.  Daniel gets around, you know.  Chelsea doesn't believe this story, though.

Abe (James Reynolds) stops by the hospital and asks Daniel where Lexie is.  He wants to buy her a cup of coffee, and Lexie blurts out that Daniel already bought her one.  She and Daniel are acting sketchy, if you ask me.  Abe and Lexie have a meeting with Theo's teacher later on because Theo is still acting up.  Later on, after work, Lexie and Abe meet for lunch before their meeting.  They argue about Theo.

At the pub, Max asks Pete to take over his shift, but Pete doesn't want to.  Max raises his voice, drawing attention from everyone in the pub.  He leaves.  Not cool, man.  Pete was there the whole morning.  Chelsea wonders whether something happened between Nick and Max.

Max makes his way down to the dock.  He gets into an argument with his foreman and beats the living hell out of him.  Morgan and her father rush over to see what fuss is.  Nick and Stephanie catch up too.  Max eludes their questioning and runs into John, who wants him to keep him in the loop about all the Kiriakis shipments coming in.  Max doesn't want to comply, and instead threatens fisticuffs.

EJ meets with Mr. Burke, the immigration officer.  Apparently, EJ has him doing stuff for his family and it's top secret.

Next on Days of our Lives: Ava knows what John is going through, Philip spent half a million dollars to plant cocaine on John's ships.
