Days of our Lives: June 19 Live Thoughts
Days of our Lives: June 19 Live Thoughts
Things are still getting steamy between Nicole and EJ (James Scott) on today's Days of our Lives.  Nicole tells EJ that Victor will be at the hospital with Kate for the night, so they will have the place to themselves.  They begin kissing.

Marlena (Deidre Hall) goes back to the DiMera mansion to collect the rest of her belongings.  John (Drake Hogestyn) invites her in.  He wants her to hear him out.

And in the most obvious Days of our Lives storyline of recent times, Max (Darin Brooks) tells Stephanie (Shelley Hennig) that Dean Trent Robbins is his father.  Dun dun DUN!
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Nicole wants to take the party upstairs to Victor's room, only because the old man will hate it.  EJ just wants to stay where they are, on the couch in front of the fire.  They get down to the business of undressing each other, but then Nicole starts having second thoughts.  She stops him and asks him to leave, and he gets confused and frustrated.  She tells him to go home to Sami, since he is still clearly in love with her.

Instead of heading home, EJ goes over to the pub for a drink where he runs into Tony (Thaao Penghlis).  Tony is still all smiles from his wedding and honeymoon.  EJ complains to Tony about women, but Tony advises him to fight for Sami.  Tony reminds him that marrying Sami and having a child with her was exactly what Stefano wanted him to do, and going against that would desecrate his memory of Stefano, which is why he continues to have affection for Sami.

Still at the Kiriakis mansion, Nicole sits around glumly, and Victor (John Aniston) comes home and actually joins her for a drink to toast their mutual liberation from each other.  He (incorrectly) thinks that she's in a bad mood because she made a play for EJ who rejected her.

John apologizes to Marlena for his behavior at the pub, from yesterday's Days of our Lives.  He admits that he turned down her invitation to dinner because he felt hurt and he was childish.  Marlena asks about Ava, but he says that she is just a friend.  John asks Marlena to stay, but she is still uncomfortable about the Ava thing, but John insists that there is nothing going on there.  Marlena warns him to be careful of Ava, lest he get caught in her obsessive claws.  Finally, Marlena accepts his dinner invitation, but he immediately leaves to take a phone call.  One of John's informants calls to tell him that Paul Hollingsworth is about to book it out of Salem.  John gets off the phone, and he and Marlena have a drink.  Marlena thanks him for apologizing and caring about her feelings.

Down at the dock, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) catches Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) making out with Morgan.  She interrupts them and gets incredibly angry.  She swears that he will come to rue this.  Morgan tries to explain that their kiss wasn't planned, but Chloe gets supremely bitchy.  I like Chloe when she is bitchy.  Chloe tells Morgan to be careful of Philip, since he has ulterior motives (getting close to Morgan to manipulate her father).  Morgan leaves, and Chloe admits to Philip that she is starting to have feelings for him, despite their friends with benefits arrangements.  He gets a phone call, presumably about Paul's imminent departure, and then asks Chloe to go home to talk about their status.  She reluctantly agrees.

Morgan says good-bye to her father before he goes away.  Paul makes her promise that she'll stay away from Philip Kiriakis.  After he leaves, she heads over to the pub and runs into Tony, who offers her an internship over the summer.  Uh oh.  At the same time, however, Paul Hollingsworth's dead body is dumped into the water.

Stephanie asks the dean if he really is Max's father, and he says it's true.  He says that he came to Salem to see Max when he was very young.  Wait, I wonder if this means that Nicole is somehow Max's mother?  Huh.  Max yells at him for abandoning him twice.  Max wants to know why he didn't give a damn about his own son.  He also threatens to tell the administration of Salem University how Robbins seduced his mother, and then abandoned them both.  His mother died, leaving Max orphaned.  Max is so consumed by anger.  And the dean offers to bribe him into silence.  Stephanie steps in and mouths off to the dean, defending Max.  Max doesn't want to take the bribe, but he'll consider the offer if the dean can tell him about the girl in the photo, whether she is his sister.  The two dudes decide to postpone their discussion until tomorrow at the Brady pub.

Next on Days of our Lives: Chelsea and Morgan discuss Daniel, Robbins lays his stake on Nicole again, John challenges Philip to step down.
