Days of our Lives: July 22 Live Thoughts
Days of our Lives begins with Daniel and Chelsea (Rachel Melvin) meeting for a meal at the pub.  Chelsea has been working as an assistant in the pediatric occupational therapy department at the Salem Hospital, and she is having a great time working with kids.  She tells him that she appreciates working with kids because she can't have any of her own.  (He still feels guilty that she is as barren as the Sahara, but she doesn't blame him.)  She asks after Bo and Victor's health.

At the police station, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is still curious about the package that Paul Hollingsworth sent Morgan.  He vows to continue to investigate it.

Chelsea asks Daniel how Bo and Victor are doing, and Daniel says that Bo's health is fine, although he seems to have a lot on his mind, but Victor isn't doing as well as he would have hoped.  He is worried about how much stress Philip and Bo are causing Victor, so Chelsea offers to talk to Bo about giving Victor some space to recover.

Kate (Lauren Koslow) assures Philip that he's off the hook for Paul Hollingsworth's disappearance because Bo hid the evidence and Kate destroyed it.  Philip doesn't feel as peachy-keen about it as Kate is, though.  He tells her that she doesn't realize what he's capable of.  Kate wants to know what he did.  Philip won't tell her but he says that what he did was for his family.  He can't live with the fact that Bo risked his reputation and family for him.  The doorbell rings and Morgan comes for a visit.  Philip invited her over for dinner.

Bo (Peter Reckell) is hanging out with Caroline (Peggy McCay) and Ciara.  Caroline wants to know whether something happened between Bo and Victor, since Bo has been all sullen ever since he came back from visiting him at the hospital.  Bo lies that he's just worried about his health.

Daniel and Chelsea decide to go home for dinner at Bo's.  Caroline heats up some leftovers for them, and Bo leaves to make a phone call.  He's all dodgy.  Daniel excuses himself from the table in order to confront Bo.  He says that Bo's and Victor's health is at risk and they damn well better ignore any family business that is raising Bo's heart rate or Victor's blood pressure, or else he'll throw Bo back in the hospital.  Daniel gets a call from the hospital and decides to lock down Victor's room.  No more visitors because his blood pressure skyrockets every time Bo or Philip go in to visit him.  Everyone sits down to talk after dinner, and then Daniel leaves to go look at an apartment that he is thinking of renting.  Bo also leaves, giving Chelsea a chance to ask

Daniel runs into Kate at the apartment.  They allude to some deep-dark secret, which both of them promise not to tell anyone about.

Lexie (Renee Jones) drops by the police station with a list of possible therapists for Theo to run past Abe.  He is initially hesitant because of the financial cost.  Lexie says that it will run them between $1000-$2000 a month.  She suggests that they might dip into Theo's college fund.  Abe asks in shock whether Theo might not be able to go to college.  Their discussion is interrupted by a phone call in which Abe learns that they may have a break in the Hollingsworth case.  He calls Morgan and asks her to meet him as soon as possible.  Morgan is still with Philip, and she asks him to come with her, conveniently enough for Philip.  The pair show up at Abe's office, who tells them that they found Paul's jacket floating in the river.  He warns them not to jump to conclusions, however.

Ah, the Indiana Jones-esque map of France indicates to us that Max (Darin Brooks) and Stephanie (Shelley Hennig) are still en route to Marseilles.  Stephanie wakes up to find a French stranger in bed next to her, and she yells at him to leave and screams for Max.  She reaches into her handbag for a can of mace that she points in her face.  He finally leaves.  Later on, Max comes back bearing coffee and pastries.  Stephanie tells her that a strange man tried to pick her pockets, but she was able to fend him off with the mace.  She already reported the guy.

Next on Days of our Lives: EJ doesn't think Ava should be making any long-term plans, Tony asks Kate what's wrong with her, Morgan worries about her father.
