Update: Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff Are "All Good"
We reported yesterday that Dancing with the Stars couple Mario Lopez and professional dancer Karina Smirnoff have called it quits.  A source had told People Magazine that Smirnoff was seen canoodling with E! Entertainment personality Michael Yo, and moving out of Lopez's Los Angeles home.

What a difference a day makes.  Today, both Lopez and Smirnoff are denying the rumors.

Smirnoff told Samantha Harris, co-host of Dancing with the Stars, "Mario and I are fine.  It's all good."

"It's all good," Lopez added in a follow-up email.

The couple reportedly got together after they were partnered on season 3 of Dancing with the Stars.  Despite living together, the two have never publicly acknowledged their romantic relationship, except to do damage control.

And what of the rumors circulating of Smirnoff trading in Lopez for her current Dancing with the Stars partner, R&B singer Mario?  Well, apparently there is little truth to that one as well.

"He’s a great guy—really respectful, really cool, and I’m glad Karina got him as a partner. And I think they’re gonna go all the way and they’re gonna do great," Lopez told E! News' Ryan Seacrest about the other Mario.

Smirnoff and the single-named R&B Singer finished tied for fourth after this week's performances with Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough, who are themselves an item as well.  Fortunately for Mario and Karina, they were able to escape the bottom two this week.  Marissa Jaret Winokur and Tony Dovolani joined Shannon and Derek in the bottom two teams, but it was Shannon and Derek's turn to dance their last dance.

Lopez is currently starring in A Chorus Line on Broadway and will be making a reappearance on the Dancing with the Stars stage. He and 18 dancers form A Chorus Line taped a dance number to air on Dancing's 100th episode on May 6. He is also busy getting ready for a national tour to promote his book, Mario Lopez's Knockout Fitness.

There are only five couples remaining in the Dancing with the Stars competition.  Catch the live broadcast of the Top 5 Performances next Monday, followed by the results show on Tuesday at 9pm.
