Fatone, Lawrence, Lachey, and Mcintyre Headline Dances With the Stars Tour
Fatone, Lawrence, Lachey, and Mcintyre Headline Dances With the Stars Tour
It's five on four for this years Dancing With the Stars' tour, with five professionals and four former celebrity contestants hitting the road for a little over a month.  Last year the tour was a tremendous success for everyone involved and this year sees the return of some of the most dynamic celebrity competitors,  but where are the women?

Among the celebrities joining the pros for the Dancing With the Stars road show are former N-Sync member and this years runner up  Joey Fatone, actor and runner  Joey Lawrence,  former 98 Degrees singer and current Broadway star  Drew Lachey, and finally former New Kids on the Block singer  Joey McIntyre.  The pros will include  Edyta Sliwinska, Cheryl Burke, Julianne Hough, Louis Van Amstel, and  Kym Johnson.

Surprising, and surely disappointing to some,  is the complete lack of female celebrity contestants.  Whether this will impact ticket sales or not remains to be seen, but it just feels wrong having a purely male team representing the celebrity portion of the contest.

Of the men, Lachey is surely the big draw.  His stunning victory in season two was amongst the most memorable of the shows history, and it will be interesting to see if he has maintained his dynamic form since season two closed.  Lachey will be competing with Joey Fatone for the big pops though,  Fatone's tendency to play to the audience will be unbridled in a packed auditorium.

This years setup will feature a super sized version of the television shows stage with night club style floor seating. The show length will be up to two hours long and will feature individual couples as well as choreographed group dances.
