It's the 100th episode of
Dancing with the Stars tonight! It's still a results show, so we'll find out which of the five remaining teams will be leaving. Hopefully, since it's their 100th-episode celebration, there will be higher-quality filler in this results show.
Last night was full of upsets when the one-armed bandit,
Cristian de la Fuente, went home with the top scores. Stay with me throughout the hour as I provide you with live thoughts of the broadcast.

After an hour-long special starting at 8pm of the judges' top 10 favorite performances from the first five seasons, this hour begins with a big group number performed by all of the professional dancers, past and present, on
Dancing with the Stars. It's so great watching the pros perform 'cause they're, like,
good, you know?
Even though it is the 100th-episode celebration, we still have to start with a recap of last night's performances. We again have to live through the unfair scoring from last night.
Rascal Flatts performs "Every Day," accompanied by season 4 winners
Apolo Anton Ohno and
Julianne Hough. It's nice to see Julianne back on the floor. Before we cut to commercials, we are reminded by Lisa Rinna about
Kelly Monaco's wardrobe malfunction in the first season. I love how "wardrobe malfunction" has earned a place in the public vernacular and means "boob flashing." Thank you, Janet Jackson!
Filler, filler, and more filler. Tom Bergeron interviews
Stacy Keibler,
Lisa Rinna,
Jerry Springer.
Vivica A. Fox,
Joey Fatone,
Kenny Mayne and
Sabrina Bryan.
The next guest was the runner-up in season 3.
Mario Lopez and the cast of
A Chorus Line perform a number from the show.
Wow, 35 minutes into the broadcast and there haven't been any mention of the teams being safe or in the bottom two. Rascal Flatts performs again, this time accompanied by my season 5 favorites
Maksim Chmerkovskiy and
Melanie Brown. Awww, I missed Mel and Maks. Woah, Mel does three splits in a row.
Samantha has Kelly Monaco, Apolo Anton Ohno, and
Drew Lachey backstage. Kelly is rooting for Kristi, Apolo wants Kristi or Jason to win, and Drew is betting on Cristian.
Finally! It's time to get down to business. The first two couples who will be competing in next week's semi-finals, in no particular order, are
Marissa Jaret Winokur and
Tony Dovolani, and
Kristi Yamaguchi and
Mark Ballas. Marissa is super-duper excited and squeals with happiness. She's kind of adorable.
The next couple who are safe to dance next week are Cristian de la Fuente and
Cheryl Burke. Now it's down to
Jason Taylor and
Edyta Sliwinska, and
Mario and
Karina Smirnoff, who are not necessarily in the bottom two. The couple who must say good-bye are Mario and Karina. Yess! Jason and Edyta are safe!
Who is your favorite dancer from a past season who made an appearance tonight?
