'Dancing with the Stars' Predictions: Who Will Go Home in Week 7?

Dancing with the Stars is just three weeks away from the season 18 finale, and the pressure is on. Week 7 brings Latin Night and, for the first time, the seven remaining couples will dance twice, once as part of a team routine.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

While the arrival of guest judge Ricky Martin should heat things up, the results are based on last week's Party Anthem dances. The scores are all relatively close (thanks to the fact that the judges seem to be giving away 9s to anyone and everyone), so this would could see a big surprise if the viewer votes shake things up.

DEFINITELY SAFE

Meryl Davis earned a perfect score last week and cemented herself not only as the best dancer of the season, but perhaps the best celebrity dancer in the history of the show (she hasn't received anything less than a 9 from any judge since week 2). And I may have serious issues with how Amy Purdy is being scored (she certainly didn't deserve any 10s last week, let alone two of them), but her high score and sympathetic appeal will keep her safe as well.

IN THE MIDDLE

Danica McKeller and Charlie White are usually in my "Definitely Safe" category, but this week is different. They each got a 36, which only puts them four points ahead of last place. They've established themselves as great performers and should hopefully have the votes to stay, but stranger things have happened.

IN DANGER

I hate to think that James Maslow could go home, but he was in the Bottom 3 of the leaderboard last week and didn't have his best dance. With a tight competition, he could become an unfortunate casualty of the judges' overly generous scoring. Remember that Peta Murgatroyd's handsome young male partner Brant Daugherty was eliminated in seventh place last season.

However, the two likeliest candidates to go home are NeNe Leakes and Candace Cameron Bure. They had the lowest scores, both performed at the start of last week's show and have been the least compelling dancers of the season. Candace had the lower score, but only by one point. That means it really just comes down to which of them has more fan support.

MY PREDICTION

I predict that Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas will be eliminated. I went back and forth on this one, but in the end, I feel like the massive popularity of The Real Housewives of Atlanta at the current moment gives NeNe a slight edge because she has more exposure. Hopefully I'm right, but more importantly, I hope something crazy doesn't happen and an early frontrunner like James, Danica or even Charlie suffers a shocking elimination.

Dancing with the Stars airs Monday at 8pm on ABC.
