Cloris Leachman, who remains the oldest contestant to ever join Dancing with the Stars, has just launched her own clothing line. This may come as surprise to many people given that The Last Picture Show star is 83-year-old but apparently, this is something she has been thinking of for a long time but had no time or opportunity to do.

Leachman's clothing line, which is called Clorisline, includes a selection of "vibrant florals" with a dash of "safari sophistication." The collection is described to be an exciting line of mix and match outfits, designed to flatter a woman's body. Additionally, it's also versatile and can be accessorized differently for various occasions.

But Leachman wasn't alone in creating the collection. She has collaborated with designer Veronique, who is also her friend.

"My friend and superb designer, Veronique, feels, as I do, that women of a 'certain age' (for instance mine) have difficulty finding things to wear that are affordable, appealing and have some little air, some touch of originality. What you wear is how you announce who you are and to me too many American women look like members of a penguin community. You'll smile at the sense of panache you feel when you put on something from Cloris Line and that smile will widen into a grin when you remember it costs under $50. So stand tall, ladies, here are some views of what I firmly believe you'll want to be wearing," Cloris Leachman said.

Aside from Dancing with the Stars, where she was paired with Corky Ballas during the seventh season, Cloris Leachman is also known for her role as the self-centered and manipulative landlady Phyllis Lindstrom on the 1970s TV series The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and later on the spin-off series, Phyllis.
