After eight weeks of competition, Dancing with the Stars
has definitely reached that point when every elimination feels unfair. All the dancers have come so far, and it's just a shame that one couple has to be eliminated at the end of tonight.
Tonight, the professional competition will continue with more well-respected young dancers vying for a spot in next season's cast. Also, Robin Thicke will be gracing the stage with a musical performance.
Let's get the discussion started early tonight. There's a whole hour before the show begins, but you can come here and leave a comment about your predictions for the night. Also, do you tweet? BuddyTV has a Dancing with the Stars Twitter
account that you can follow. My colleague Rachel Cameron will be tweeting updates about tonight's results show, while I post my live thoughts here.
The evening begins right off the bat with an encore performance of Team Tango's "Womanizer" tango.
Then, we get another recap of last night's performances, but you can read my Live Thoughts
here. What I like about the recap, though, is the little backstage confessionals that each team gives. Ty Murray tells Len in apostrophe that he is certainly doing better in Len's world than Len would be doing in Ty's world. This is truth.
We now get a clip entitled "Ballroom Dancers of Genius," which is a little humorous segment about what each dancer is competing for.
Robin Thicke performs "When I Get You Alone," accompanied by dancers Alec Mazo, Edyta Sliwinska, Cheryl Burke, Tony Dovolani, Kym Johnson and Dmitry Chaplin. Then, Samantha Harris has Melissa Rycroft and Lil' Kim backstage. Melissa seems to be doing better. She says that she has started a new treatment for her fractured rib, and they are optimistic that she'll be able to continue to dance.
