British hunk and All My Children alum Aiden Turner has teamed up with BuddyTV to bring you the inside scoop when he competed for the coveted mirror ball trophy on Dancing with the Stars. Here is what was on Aiden's mind when he got eliminated from the show, and a little shout-out to everyone who supported him during his run!

It seems as though my dancing days are over.... At least dancing on Dancing with the Stars! A BIG thank you to my BuddyTV friends and family for all of your support!  You guys phoned in, sent text messages, voted online and I can't thank you enough.

When my name was called last week and I had to walk down those stairs, I was shocked!  There is really no other way to describe the feeling.  I thought that I was getting better and improving with each dance--doing a decent enough job--so, honestly speaking, I thought someone else would be going home rather than me.  The production team tells all contestants to bring a change of clothes because immediately after the show, the eliminated couple goes to Jimmy Kimmel and heads to NY.  I didn't bring my clothes or have a bag packed for GMA and Regis & Kelly in NY. I suppose that that was a bit silly of me, but I really didn't think that I would be going home.

One would think that after working seven days a week dancing on the show that elimination would mean a break. Absolutely not! I immediately did Kimmel with Edyta, and the next morning we were up bright and early at 4AM for Good Morning America, and then boarded a plane to New York for two shows--Regis & Kelly and The Wendy Williams Show. When I finally returned to Los Angeles last week, I actually had time to hang out with my family, which was really nice.  It has been about 7 weeks of not being able to spend a lot of time with my family, so that was great. My parents were in town and we went to the Palihouse for a great English breakfast. It was the weirdest thing, because I realized that I didn't have to rush through a meal with my family to run off to dance rehearsal or a camera block. It has been weird to finally have time to myself.

On Monday, after the show, I hosted a dinner party for my fellow DWTS cast mates at the Andaz West Hollywood. It was so great to see them all again. I used to be a chef, so I cooked dinner for everyone at the hotel; even making sure that I made vegan food for Pamela. I've been a big fan of Pamela's since Baywatch. She is a very busy lady and rarely goes out, but she promised that she'd make it and she did! I had a great time with everyone and it was a very special evening.

On Tuesday, I went to the show to support my fellow DWTS cast and saw Kate get voted off. Knowing how that feels, I'm glad that I was there to give her a hug and offer my support. I'll definitely be at the show every Tuesday to offer my support.

Although I have more free time, I'm still very busy. This week, I've been auditioning and have a lot of meetings. The work still continues... but I couldn't be happier.

'Til Next Time!
