Almost three months before we kick off the seventh season of HBO cult hit Curb Your Enthusiasm, another big personality adds her name to the roster of guest stars on the series.

Nineties rom-com queen Meg Ryan will appear in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, reports Entertainment Weekly.  If Ryan, 47, will appear alongside the Seinfeld cast who will figure in a multi-episode story line this season, is still unknown.

Ryan, known for a string of rom-com's including When Harry Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, and You've Got Mail, among others, is not new to television,  appearing in an episode of As the World Turns way back in 1982 plus lending her voice to Dr. Swanson in a 2007 episode of The Simpsons.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is the brainchild of Seinfeld co-creator Larry David, and this season will feature the first time that Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards since the comedy's end more than 10 years ago.

A source, however, previously said that the reunion is not as it is advertised, since the four Seinfeld cast members will not appear simultaneously in one scene. All four have made individual appearances on Curb in the past.

Previously, the show's producer Jeff Garlin has confirmed that the earliest they can get the at least 10-episode seventh run on air is the fall, several months after the cast and crew went back to production in December.

"Larry David writes a seven-page story," he adds.  "It's the story of the episode.  Most of his sitcom scripts are about 35 pages, so ours is seven pages so we improvise all of the dialogue.  But the story is so condensed and great, so thank God he does that."
