Curb Your Enthusiasm: Vivica A. Fox Returns for Season 7
Latest Curb Your Enthusiasm News>>As
Curb Your Enthusiasm begins production this month, some details about the upcoming season 7 are slowly finding their way onto the internet. Not much has been revealed about what the new 10-episode season is all about though there have been rumors that the new season story arc will include
Larry David working on a Woody Allen movie, just like he did in real life. Most recently,
Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello reported on another update.
Vivica A. Fox, who played the role of Loretta Black, has signed on to appear on
Curb Your Enthusiasm's seventh season for at least two episodes. The 44-year-old actress is best known for her roles in
Independence Day, Set It Off, Soul Food, Kill Bill: Vol. 1, and
Motives.
Fox first appeared on
Curb Your Enthusiasm on September 9, 2007 in the episode “Meet the Blacks” where Larry agreed to take in the Black Family, who lost their home in Hurricane Edna. She recurrently appeared throughout season 6 and when we last saw
Curb Your Enthusiasm, Cheryl (
Cheryl Hines) separated from husband Larry, who seems to have moved on by forging a relationship with Loretta. Whether that was just a dream sequence, fans will have to wait and see when the HBO series returns with new episodes in 2009.
In the meantime, Fox is working on several upcoming movies. First up is
San Saba, a mystery film that also stars Angus Macfadyen and Elisabeth Röhm. She will also grace the musical
Caught on Tape and the comedy
Shark City, along with Corey Haim and Carlo Rotta. Moreover, Fox has also been cast in
Miss Nobody, a comedy about a mild-mannered secretary who discovers that she has a talent for murder as she ascends the corporate ladder, and the York Shackleton's hard hitting
Street, which is based on actual events.
