Apart from the question of whether anyone else got hurt in the drive-by shooting that kept us all hanging in the season finale of
CSI: NY, and the question of how the new characters will change the team's dynamic, there's the question of the cases they will tackle. There's an idea: a serial killer.
TVGuide.com now reports that the show will be doing just that, and Skeet Ulrich will be playing a complex and really disturbed killer for three episodes. That episode arc will kick off October 7, and it is said that the character will be a throwback to Ulrich's character in
Scream, which made him famous. Unfortunately, I don't have an idea, since I haven't seen that film, nor am I fond of horror films altogether.
But come to think of it. After last season's Greek artifacts story and the Mac-Dunbrook rivalry, this storyline's got me excited, because nothing shakes up a crime drama more than a serial killer on the loose. And, apparently, this will be the wildest case the NYPD crime lab will tackle, as it will bring them all over New York City. That should be literal, right?
