Crowned: What's Next for Moya and Jenileigh?
Thursday, February 07, 2008

crownedIn a recent BuddyTV interview, Moya and Jenileigh, winners of Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants, said that they were uncertain of what the future holds for them, but hope that they can promote and represent the show in good light.  Whether they use the $100,000 prize money to get their lives back on track or donate all of it to help other people, they have, so far, lived up to the sincerity and ambitiousness that enabled them to succeed in the competition.

At present, Moya and Jenileigh are humbly trying to pursue their dreams, while trying to make ends meet.  And despite the newfound fame and wealth, they continue to engage in benevolent acts while trying to serve as good examples to other people.

“I currently work at Planet Hollywood as an aerialist -- with the aerial fabric -- with a couple of other variety acts.  It's really nice there, and we raise money for Habitat for Humanity and for Hurricane Katrina victims,” Jenileigh said.

Jenileigh, who is also working on two other jobs, made history as the first aerialist who competed in the Miss America 2007 pageant.  She also joined the Cinderella Scholarship program for five years and won the Utah State title.  Subsequently, she won titles for Miss Anaheim and Miss Orange County and the Miss Wyoming title.

“Right now, Jenileigh's working three jobs and I'm working two jobs.  We're both just trying to make needs meet and pull ourselves out of the situation that we've been in.  But from this point on, we hope that this will open some doors for us, that we can help out other people,” Moya said.

Like her mother, Jenileigh is full of hope especially when it comes to her ultimate dream, which is to be part of an entertainment empire based in Montreal, Canada.

“Right now, I'm honestly just chasing my dream to be in Cirque de Soleil.  I'm just training really hard for that and hopefully one day it will happen,” Jenileigh revealed.
