AJ Cook was born on July 22, 1978 in Ontario, Canada. This actress is a dedicated Mormon and apparently does not accept roles that go against her faith. As a child, she studied jazz, tap and ballet. For some time, she joined dance competitions and eventually pursued acting at the age of 17. She appeared in numerous televisions shows and movies like Goosebumps, Elvis Meets Nixon, Higher Ground, The Spiral Staircase, Out Cold and Final Destination 2. She is also part of the television series Criminal Minds as Jennifer Jareau.
Special Agent Jennifer Jareau serves as the team's liaison with media and the local police agencies. Often called "JJ", she graduated from East Allegheny High School and was the captain of the varsity soccer team. Previously, she went with Reid on a Washington Redskins game but nothing serious came out of it since that first date.
