Jon Seda was born on October 14, 1970 in Manhattan, New York. This Puerto Rican-American actor was obsessed in becoming a boxing champion. After boxing in several gyms, he became a runner up in the New Jersey Golden Gloves competition. As a newbie in boxing, he had a record of one loss and twenty one wins. He got his break as an actor in the film Gladiator where he played a Cuban boxer named Ramon. Later, he worked on several projects like New York Undercover and NYPD Blue and Homicide: Life on the Street. Aside from this, he also appeared in movies such as Like It Like That, The Sunchaser and Selena. Moreover, he is part of the television series Close to Home as Ray Blackwell.
