NBC Schedules Remaining Episodes of 'Chuck'

Yvonne Strahovski, Zachary Levi, Adam BaldwinFans of NBC's comedic action series Chuck have been anxiously waiting for word of when the two remaining episodes would be scheduled.  Today the network finally announced that episodes 12 and 13 of the hit series will be airing in late January, but not in the Monday night time slot that viewers have come to expect.  The series will wrap up its run with the final two episodes airing on Thursday, January 24.  The first episode will air from 8-9pm and the second will run from 10-11pm.  The episodes will be sandwiched around an all new hour of The Celebrity Apprentice, which may prove to be a ratings booster for the spy series.

Your Take

LOSTHEROES2324 said: Yeaeeee. Chuck is back for one night at least. Chuck rules. Glad they picked it up for a full season.
lila said: Yay, finally some new Chuck! (even though that will also be the last Chuck for a long time...)

When we last left Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi), his potential relationship with Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) was being threatened by the return of Bryce, but more importantly we learned that his life may soon be over.  Tough guy Casey (Adam Baldwin) received a call from his boss, letting him know that Chuck's usefulness as a spy may have run its course.  When that time comes, everybody's favorite Buy More geek will have to be dealt with accordingly.

Episode 12 of the series is entitled "Chuck vs. The Undercover Lover," which will be followed by the last completed episode, "Chuck vs. The Marlin."  The episodes promise to show a bit of Casey's back story while also focusing more on the love triangle between Chuck, Sarah, and Bryce.

After the remaining episodes air, fans will have to go through another waiting period before they see more of Chuck's wacky spy antics.  Though the show has been picked up for a full season of nine additional episodes, those will not be produced until after the writers' strike is over.

What do you think of NBC's decision to wrap Chuck up on a Thursday?
Pretty smart idea, and it may get bigger ratings
Terrible idea to move it from its regular time
I don't care, I'll watch it no matter what
I don't care, I don't watch the show
