Chuck: Episode 1.8, "Chuck vs. the Truth" Preview Video

If you love
The OC, which you may or may not (it had kind of a love/hate thing going) then you probably love Rachel Bilson. Even if you hated
The OC, then you should still really like Rachel Bilson. She and Adam Brody were the life blood of Josh Schwartz's first series and now, Bilson is returning to TV in a guest role on one of Schwartz's new shows,
Chuck. Bilson plays Lou, a new romantic interest for Chuck, which is good for him, considering isn't, you know, real. The episode is called “Chuck versus The Truth,” and it airs on Monday, November 12. We have a special preview clip from the episode below.
Chuck is put in a very awkward position in “Chuck versus the Truth” when he, Sarah, Ellie and Captain Awesome go on a double date and Chuck is put in the position of explaining he and Sarah's sex life. If you've seen the promos for the episode, you know that Sarah thinks it may be time for her and Chuck to take things to another, more physical level. Whether this is an imaginary level, or real, we'll have to wait and see. So, then Lou comes along in the form of the lovely Rachel Bilson and is actually interested in Chuck, the real Chuck, not Chuck the government spy. What's a man to do in such a situation?
Here's a clip from the episode:
Chuck has enjoyed a nice little ratings surge recently, which would bode well for its long-term future, if it wasn't for the writers' strike. Once new episodes of Chuck finish airing, which will happen in early 2008, what then? Will viewers come back nine months later, if that's how long the strike lasts? Josh Schwartz, with two new shows, is facing a lot of uncertainty, seeing as new series are likely the ones to be hurt most by the strike.
