'Battlestar Galactica's' Tricia Helfer to Guest Star on 'Chuck'
'Battlestar Galactica's' Tricia Helfer to Guest Star on 'Chuck'
Chuck's list of guest stars this season is plain absurd, and they keep adding them on.  Either the Chuck set has gotten a reputation for being one heck of a good time, of NBC has unleashed a mighty guest star budget for the spy action/comedy.  Either way, there are more guest stars being announced today, thanks to EW's Michael Ausiello.  The big name is one Tricia Helfer, who Battlestar Galactica fans know extremely well.  Helfer is, well, quite a looker and she is coming onto Chuck for one episode as Special Agent Alex Forrest, a possible replacement for Yvonne Strahovski's Sarah Walker, amidst worries that Sarah has gotten too close to Chuck.  Fans shouldn't worry, however.  Strahovski isn't going anywhere, and Helfer has only signed up for the one episode.  Casey will be hoping otherwise, as he will take a liking to the no-nonsense Agent Forrest.

In other guest news, Jonathan Cake has been cast in a multi-episode story arc as a British MI-6 Agent.  He is going to be suave, James Bond-esque, and will serve to make Chuck feel like a bigger nerd than he already is.  Possible love interest for Sarah as well.  And, in wonderful news, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker will guest star as a potential Buy More employee in episode 15.  In the episode, Jeff and Lester are given the reins of the Buy More hiring process and immediately set out to find hot booth girls.  That should be fun.

Chuck returns tonight with another new episode, "Chuck vs. The Gravitron."  It will serve as the wrap-up for Jordana Brewster's story-line as Jill, Chuck's ex/current girlfriend from back at Stanford.  If I were a betting man, I'd guess that tonight will be a more somber affair than usual, as Chuck will be given the news early on in the episode that Jill is a secret Fulcrum agent who's been playing him all along.  Nothing can go right for our man Chuck.  The episode airs at 8pm on NBC.
