'Celebrity Rehab' Ends, Sober House Begins

During the highly dramatic finale of the VH1 reality show Celebrity Rehab, the patents were just returning back to the recovery center form a night-out to a comedy club, when actor Jeff Conaway, out of a fit of rage, kicked Vikki Lizzi in the chest.  The two were arguing since Jeff was mighty upset at her for abandoning him.  Vikki was straight to the emergency room, leaving the other patients pretty much annoyed at the whole incident.  Of course, Dr. Drew confronted Jeff about it while reminding him that the recovery center is not a wrestling ring.  The doctor had to dismiss him from the place and suggested that he transfer to Las Encinas.

Yet Jeff Conaway being Jeff Conaway, he insisted on going home instead.  In a weird twist of events, Vikki forgave Jeff and decided to go home with him.  Meanwhile, another patient Gary Busey, who entered the place as a “sobriety coach” finally came to terms with the fact that he can't really preach without practicing what he preaches, so he chose graduation day as his sober date, earning the respect of the group.  Also, model-actress Amber Smith wasn't too keen on the whole highlight reel, because she thought she wasn't featured enough in them.

Also on the finale, the cast of the upcoming series Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House was revealed.  The spin-off is set to begin January 18, and will follow the former addicts move from a rehabilitation center into a controlled, drug-free sober house.

Actress Jennifer Gimenez will act as House Manager, with her residents to include the following Celebrity Rehab alums: former American Idol contestant Nikki McKibbin, adult film star and former California gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey from season 1, Crazy Town frontman Shifty Shellshock, comedian and train wreck Andy Dick, model actress Amber Smith, and Rodney King.
