Stephen Baldwin is featured as one of the members of the cast in the CMT network’s reality television series Ty Murray’s Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge. He is an actor, director and producer born on May 12, 1966 in Massapequa, New York, and is the youngest of the performing Baldwin brothers, related to Alec, William, and Daniel. Upon graduating from high school, he studied for one year at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, yet did not get an invite back for another year. Baldwin subsequently went on to act in a number of feature films, such as Last Exit to Brooklyn, Born on the Fourth of July, and The Usual Suspects.
Baldwin has also worked on a number of television series, among them Kate and Allie, Family Ties, and The Young Riders. In 2004, he produced and directed the movie Livin’ It, which featured Christian athletes and evangelists who were also extreme sports enthusiasts. He also authored the 2006 book The Unusual Suspect, which tells about his conversion to Christianity, and actually made it onto the New York Times’ bestseller list. Baldwin was initially baptized a Roman Catholic early in his life, yet chose to become a born-again Christian in the wake of the September 11 attacks.
