Josh Haynes is featured as one of the members of the cast in the CMT network's reality television series Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge. He is mixed martial arts fighter who was born on July 30, 1977 in Medford, Oregon. Before choosing to become an MMA warrior, he studied at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. Haynes presently fights as a member of Team Quest out of Medford, Oregon, with an MMA record of seven wins and eight losses.

He also participated as a contestant in the third season of the reality television series The Ultimate Fighter, and was trained by Tito Ortiz. In an ironic turn of events, his fellow Team Quest member Ed Herman fought on that season's opposing faction of Ken Shamrock's team. Haynes stands at 175 centimeters tall, and he fights in the 77 kilogram weight class division. Apart from his fighting, he is devoted to his family – his wife Jennifer and their three children, Sabrina, Thor, and Maximus. His first son Thor has suffered from a tumor on his brain stem. Haynes has stated that his family, especially his children, is his main motivation for continuing to fight.
