Sam Huntington, who was born on April 1, 1982 in Peterborough, New Hampshire, started his career at the Black Box Theatre, which was owned by his mother, Christine Stabile. He then moved on to appear on television's 1996 film, Harvest of Fire. A year later, he appeared with Tim Allen on Disney's Jungle 2 Jungle and consequently got roles for films such as Detroit Rock City, Not Another Teen Movie, Rolling Kansas, Home of Phobia, In Enemy Hands and River's End. Huntington also earned roles for television series such as CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Law and Order, and Veronica Mars. He recently starred as Jimmy Olsen in Superman Returns, and has been set to appear on ABC's Cavemen.

Andy is played by Sam Huntington on the television series, Cavemen. A caveman living in San Diego, Andy is the younger brother of Joel, a sophisticated, intelligent young man with a gorgeous girlfriend and a great job. The two live in one apartment, though Andy, unlike his brother, is very open to the modern world and would like to embrace all the risks it entails just to live his life to the fullest.
