is a comedic web series that follows the adventures of a group of misfits, brought together by devotion to their beloved game. Considering that none of the Guild
members have much in the way of social skills, all navigation through life is entertainingly rocky. Season 5 follows Codex (Felicia Day), Zaboo (Sandeep Parikh), Vork (Jeff Lewis) and the rest to the Mega Game-O-Rama Con. There, they quickly discover that even amidst the nerds and the geeks, they are a special lot.

The Con environment also provides ample opportunity for guest stars. With such luminaries as Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation
) and YouTube's Tay Zonday (of "Chocolate Rain" fame) already making appearances in earlier season 5 episodes, The Guild
must have been ready to step it up for episode 6.
The sixth episode, entitled "Revolving Doors," brings Nathan Fillion into the Guild
world. Fillion will play a big star seeking advice from unlikely sources within the Guild
's ranks. Also guest starring in "Revolving Doors" are Doug Jones (Hellboy I
, Hellboy II
and Pan's Labyrinth
) and Maurissa Tancharoen (Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
) as steampunkers.

has been something of a Mecca for nerd-loving guest stars throughout its run. Wil Wheaton recurred in seasons 3 and 4 of the series, and The Big Bang Theory
's Simon Helberg had a notable guest-starring role at the end of season 4. Many of those who do appear on the show have television and Internet associations with The Guild
star Felicia Day (who is also the series' creator and writer). Wil Wheaton can be seen guest starring with Day on Eureka
, while both Fillion and Helberg were Felicia Day's co-stars in Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
