Castle season 5 continues on Monday, March 18 with an episode called "Scared to Death." From the preview clips below, we can see that the team is going to be tracking a murderer, but Castle is once again convinced that it's more than that.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

In the first sneak peek video from the episode, we find Castle and Beckett arriving at a crime scene to get briefed by Esposito. Their latest murder victim was killed in her home with no signs of forced entry, which seems to suggest something of a supernatural nature to Castle.

Here are a few more things we know from watching the video:

  • Their victim apparently left a chilling voicemail right before she died.
  • Their victim really does look like she's been literally scared to death.
  • Their victim said "it's" coming for her, not "he" or "she." Interesting.
  • Castle sees evidence that Esposito and Beckett miss; like the appearance of books about urban legends and horseshoes above the door.
  • From the looks on Beckett and Esposito's faces, something tells me they're not buying his "monster did it" story.

In the second sneak peek video from the episode, we find Castle and Beckett finishing up another long day of investigating. She has a suggestion for how they can relax and put the day behind them, but Castle's not willing to take the chance.

Here are a few more things we know from watching the video:

  • Beckett suggests that she and Castle take "more" photos; meaning that the already have taken some naughty photos in the past.
  • Since everyone who has sex has died in every horror movie Castle has ever seen, he wants no part of Beckett and her night of naughty photos.
  • Beckett is very seductive when she wants to be, especially when starts talking about how it could be their last time.
  • Castle is strong enough to walk away, but still flustered enough to slam himself on the way out.

What do you think now that you've seen the clips from this episode of Castle? Could there really be a monster in New York? Will Beckett talk Castle into taking those naughty pictures after all?

Castle airs on Monday nights at 10pm on ABC.
