David Boreanaz


David Paul Boreanaz was born on May 16, 1969 in Buffalo, New York. He grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was educated at Malvern Preparatory School in Malvern, Pennsylvania and Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. After concluding his studies he moved to Hollywood and was discovered by a producer who noticed his brooding and intense looks while Boreanaz was walking his dog. His first appearance was as a guest star in the sitcom Married... with Children. He was then cast in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Angel, the vampire with a soul. After the success of Buffy, a spin-off show was given to him entitled Angel. In 2005, he was again cast for the primetime television series Bones. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife Jaime Bergman.

Angel or Angelus is played by David Boreanaz in the hit television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Angel was born as Liam to an Irish merchant in 1727. He was a good man who aspired to travel and explore the world until Darla, an affluent vampire was attracted to him and transformed him into a vampire. He then mercilessly killed anyone and everyone in his path, living 14 wars since then. When he met Buffy in Sunnydale, they fell in love, and not being able to hide their emotions, consummated their relationship. He then got the one thing needed to break his curse--the one moment of pure happiness.
