Linda Blair's character (from "The Usual Suspects") and the bank teller from "Nightshifter" are name-dropped as witnesses in the boys' favors (and in a neat show of continuity!).

In "Run Like Hell" (which should be episode 1.09 or so), Jimmy and Kevin want to set up a bookie business. Finances at the Reilly Diner are not doing so great when checks Jenny wrote start to bounce. Vinny will have to watch Nicky be beaten up.

COLD CASE: "A Dollar, a Dream" is the title of the 18th episode of the season. The cold case is the one of Marlene Bromley who died in 1999. After her husband died of cancer, his bills wiped the family out. Marlene lives in a station wagon with her two kids and tries all she can to make ends meet, one penny at a time. The investigation shows that Marlene was killed over a lotto ticket.

Okay... time for random spoilers and stuff I wanted to spoil but didn't yet.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: Spoilers again courtesy of “WonderJew.” Episode 1.19 sees Lyla Garrity (Minka Kelly) very upset with her father and confronts him at his car dealership. After he ignores her, she gets in her car and proceeds to crash it into several other vehicles before driving it through the front of the dealership. Mucho damage and destruction. There is a library scene where Landry Clarke (Jesse Plemons) insists on replacing Tim Riggins as Tyra Collette's math tutor. She agrees. Coach Taylor is confronted by many concerned parents inside of a Dillion Bank for his risky behavior in dealing with Smash before the next playoff game. This episode also features an evacuation scene inside the High School because of a bomb threat.
MONK: An upcoming episode will be titled "Mr. Monk and the Babysitter."
THE 4400: Episode 4.01, “The Wrath of Graham,” seems to be set a few months after the Season 3 finale. Tom is looking for Alana and seems to be at a dead end when he is told that a prisoner, who may have leads for him, is now allowed to see visitors. A student named Graham is surprised when his classmates agree to play any sports he wants (thumb wrestling anyone?) in gym class. Could he have the power to have anyone do anything? Kyle gets a new job: helping out the 4400 as legal aid. Shawn is at the hospital (as a patient) and has terrible convulsions.
VERONICA MARS: Episode 3.19 will also introduces Jalisa Jones, an African-American woman in her early 20s who is said to be smart and funny and could become a recurring character.
