Meanwhile, in other news, Variety reports that
Brothers and Sisters scribe Liz Tigelaar has recently landed a deal with the CW and ABC. In fact, she recently wrote the pilot of
Light Years for the CW and
MysticConfidential.com for ABC in behalf of Berlanti Television.
Light Years is an hour-long family dramedy which revolves around a 16-year-old girl who discovers that her birth parents were teenagers who split following a one-night stand that resulted to her conception. She soon finds out that her mother is a morning show host and her father is a bar owner, and the three cross paths along the way.
Tigelaar is set to write and produce
Light Years, while Gary Fleder works alongside her to direct and executively produce.
MysticConfidential.com on the other hand is a drama which revolves around a small-town blog which directly impacts a group of people and how they live their lives. Tigelaar’s previous endeavors include
What About Brian,
Dirty Sexy Money,
Side Order of Life,
Kyle XY and
American Dreams.
